Paramore’s long-awaited fourth album has finally been recorded, with a 2013 release date now expected.

Hayley Williams, the lead singer for the Tennessee pop-rockers, announced the band had completed the recording of the as-yet untitled album online, tweeting: “Getting ready to walk out these studio doors for the last time. #album4.”

The album is to be mixed by Year of the Rabbit’s Ken Andrews, who has worked with bands such as Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World and Tenacious D.

When recently talking about the upcoming album, which has been hinted as seeing a more mature sound, Hayley said: “Basically, we’ll be “off” and “on” for the next little while putting together all the pieces that will be in your very hands before you know it. It’s been, what, 3 years since we put out an album? Life at home, alone with my thoughts is cool and all but it feels like my brain is swelling up inside my head. I think I need to do something besides cooking healthy meals and fixing up Martha Stewart paper-craft decor for each holiday season.”

Although a release date has not been confirmed, it seems likely that the fourth album will be in stores in early 2013. The album will mark the band’s first full-length release since 2009’s Brand New Eyes.
